Collin Hwang is the founder of Northern Star Group of Companies. Originally from Taiwan and educated in Australia, Mr. Hwang is a successful entrepreneur and investor with businesses operating in the greater China region and Australia. He had accumulated decades of experiences in investing, managing and growing business in real property, restaurant chain, on-line gaming, financial lease and flight academy. Before founding Northern Star, he was the chief financial officer and managing director of Gigamedia, a NASDAQ-listed company. Throughout his career life, Mr. Hwang has been engaged in quite a number of corporate finance deals such as management buy-out, privatization, spin-off, reorganization and merger and acquisition.
Mr. Flowers is currently the independent, non-executive Chairman of Northern Star Investments Pty Limited, Mainbrace Constructions Pty Limited and the NSW Institute of Sport, Chairman of EMM Consulting Pty Ltd and DataDot Technology Limited. He is also a Member of the Investment Committee of Propertylink Australian Industrial Partnership. He has previously served as COO of Mirvac Limited, Managing Director and CEO of Australian Rugby Union, CEO of SANZAR and a Council Member of the International Rugby Board.
Mr Christopher Stott, B. Economics. ABE. ESA.
Mr. Stott is currently Executive Director of DataDot Technology Asia Pte. Limited and a Director and Secretary of Northern Star Investments Pty Limited, an Australian based property development company. He was formally General Manager of Questor Funds Management, a division of financial services provider CUSCAL Limited, specialising in managed funds and superannuation funds. He is the ASIC approved authorised representative for Northern Star Funds Management.
Mr. Loughlin is currently Director of Asian business development and for 10 years has also been Company Secretary of DataDot Technology Limited. He was previously General Manager Strategy and Business Development of financial services provider CUSCAL Limited. He has been an independent, non-executive director of Police Bank Limited, Veda Advantage Limited and Jet Set Tours Pty Limited. He has also served as a Member of the Australian Government’s Payments System Council and Housing Council and was formerly Executive Assistant to the Premier of the State of South Australia.
